Accelerated formation of common energy markets in the EAEU will become the basis for equal conditions for economic activity, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
"Further formation of common energy markets of the Union and ensuring energy security remain a priority for Armenia. Accelerated formation of common energy markets on non-discriminatory principles of operation should become one of the foundations for ensuring equal conditions for economic activity for all EAEU member states," he said.
He also noted the importance of interaction between the customs services of the Union member states and commissions in the field of monitoring the customs declaration of taxable goods. In his opinion, such cooperation is an important tool for proper control of their cost, which directly affects the budget revenues of states.
He added that significant work has been done through joint efforts to ensure the sustainable functioning of the common market for medical products and devices in the EAEU.
Thanks to this, a common market for the circulation of medicines will begin to function as early as next year, he said.
