Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze expressed hope for a reset in relations with the United States after the new American administration takes office, Report informs via Russian media.
"We very much hope for a reset in relations with the US under the new administration, based on real strategic partnership," Kobakhidze said Monday at a government meeting.
According to him, opposition rallies in Tbilisi continue without any substance or demands. He believes that the opposition is unable to gather a large number of supporters.
"These opposition forces plan to overthrow the current government at any cost before January 20, the inauguration day of the new US president. But I promise that these opposition forces will end their attempts at disorder in our country well before January 20," said the Georgian Prime Minister.
