Georgia urges NATO to speed accession process

"We call on NATO to speed up the process of Georgia's and Ukraine's accession to the Alliance," Nikoloz Samkharadze, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, said, speaking at a plenary session of the legislature, the local Bureau of Report informs.
According to him, Georgia supports the more active participation of NATO in the Black Sea region, which guarantees peace, security, and stability.
The chairman of the committee called on the world community to support the sovereignty of Georgia and Ukraine actively.
