Georgia's Foreign Minister meets with US Ambassador

Georgia's Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili met with the US Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan.

According to Report, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States.

According to the statement from Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides noted that the partnership between the two countries, based on shared values and interests, requires positive dynamics, and the Georgian government is ready to deepen it.

Issues of regional and global security were also discussed. In this context, the importance of US support and cooperation was emphasized.

The US Embassy, for its part, reported that Ambassador Dunnigan presented the main priorities of US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio and discussed steps that Georgia can take to further strengthen the relationship.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to continue active work to advance strategic cooperation.
