Georgia will not impose any sanctions on Russia, Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili said, according to Report.
His comment follows a report from the European Commission, which did not recommend starting negotiations for Georgia's accession to the European Union.
"According to Georgia's interests, there is no imposition of sanctions against Russia and there has not been," the Speaker emphasized. "Georgia will not impose any sanctions on Russia. Even if we get a lower rating from the European Union for this, it will not happen."
