General Staff of Ukraine: ‘Russia did not let injured soldiers into its territory, some died’ 

On April 17 this year, from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region towards the settlement of Urazovo, Belgorod region, Russia tried to carry out a medical evacuation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook, Report informs.

“14 trucks were used to transport injured occupants. When trying to cross the State Border of Ukraine into the territory of the Russian Federation, for some reason, the Russian side did not let the military column cross the border and turned it back. Some of the Russian soldiers died due to the lack of proper medical care. Another part of the seriously injured invaders, more than 50, were transported to a hospital deployed at Troitsk Central District Hospital,” the General Staff said.
