Fuat Oktay: Türkiye won't tolerate establishment of terrorist state in Syria

Türkiye will not allow any branch of the PKK to establish a terrorist state in Syria, Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, told journalists in Baku, Report informs.

The chairman highlighted that the ongoing events in Syria are being witnessed by the entire world, and Türkiye's main goal is to achieve peace and eliminate terrorism.

"The outcome of the conflict in Syria remains uncertain. However, those attempting to exploit the situation to create a terrorist state will not succeed. Türkiye will prevent this at any cost. We hope for stability in Syria and the return of its people to their lands, but at present, this seems unrealistic," Oktay noted.
