Four members of extremist group detained in Kazakhstan

The National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, in coordination with the prosecutor's office, detained four members of an extremist group in Astana and Qosshy, Report informs via Kazakh media.
They are suspected of promoting terrorism, organizing and participating in extremist activities, as well as recruiting new supporters.
"During searches at their residences, religious materials and other physical evidence were seized. Currently, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Articles 256, 259, and 405 of the Criminal Code," the committee noted.
