Approximately 90% of the weapons Armenia has purchased from Western countries are inoperable, including for technical reasons, former Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan has said.
Report informs via Armenian media that Karapetyan stated:
"Based on the information I have, nearly everything they [the Armenian authorities] have bought—without naming the countries so as not to offend anyone—is unusable for various reasons. Some of the weapons are technically incompatible. They bought artillery guns, but there are no shells for them because the standards are different," he said.
