FM: EU considering allocation of €20M to Armenia

The European Union (EU) is currently deliberating the allocation of approximately 20 million euros from the European Peace Fund to Armenia, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said, Report informs via Armenian media.
Mirzoyan discussed this development during a joint press conference with Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon in Yerevan.
"Last year, this amount was 10 million euros, and this year it is twice as much," Mirzoyan stated.
Fajon voiced support for the proposal, emphasizing the importance of allocating these funds to Armenia's armed forces. "A unanimous decision should be made for this," Fajon remarked.
In July 2024, the EU allocated 10 million euros from the European Peace Fund to Armenia for the construction of a tent camp.
