The first ship is expected to be sent to Somalia. The vessel will reach the port of Somalia in six weeks.
Russia's blockade of Ukrainian ports made it impossible to send ships full of grain to the intended destination. As a result of negotiations between Turkiye and the UN, Russia, and Ukraine, the blockade was lifted. According to the talks, Russian fertilizers will also be sent to their destination from ports on the Black Sea.
