Erdogan: Türkiye deploys 27 planes and 105 helicopters to fight forest fires

Türkiye has deployed 27 planes and 105 helicopters to extinguish forest fires across the country, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists.
According to Report, he added that, in addition to aircraft, 6,000 units of equipment and 25,000 personnel have been mobilized to combat the fires.
The Turkish president also spoke about the development of the country's defense industry, emphasizing that when he first assumed office (as Türkiye’s leader in March 2003), the sector’s potential was valued at $20 billion, whereas it now stands at $80 billion.
It should be noted that forest fires are currently raging in various regions of Türkiye.
