Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke on the phone with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Report informs.
The sides discussed regional and global issues, including the latest developments in Syria.
Erdogan emphasized during the phone conversation that Türkiye stands for peace, freedom, dialog, and protection of Syria’s territorial integrity.
“Syria must be cleared of terrorists,” the Turkish president stressed.
