Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed determination to make Türkiye the most disaster-prepared country in the world.
Report quotes the Turkish leader as saying a Disaster Management Council will be established in the country.
"We will make the earthquakes of February 6, which have entered the history of our country as one of the most destructive elements in terms of human casualties, the beginning of a new stage in disaster prevention. There is no doubt that now we will react more quickly and more practically. We will closely monitor natural disasters and take a direct part in research," Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed.
