Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that there is currently no reason for concern regarding the recent earthquake in Istanbul, according to Report.
He emphasized that the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) under the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and all other government agencies are operating in an enhanced capacity to address the situation.
"Search and rescue operations are ongoing, and we are closely monitoring developments. All government agencies are fully prepared for emergencies. I have received the latest updates from the relevant authorities, and so far, there is nothing alarming," Erdogan noted.
