Erdogan: NATO summit to be held in 2026 in Ankara

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the NATO summit in 2026 will be held in Ankara, Report informs.
He made the remark following a cabinet meeting in Ankara.
"At the NATO summit in The Hague, an important decision was made for us that the next time it will be held in our country. Türkiye will host the NATO summit of heads of state and government in July 2026. We will receive the leaders of the alliance in our capital, Ankara. We will prepare the ground for making very important decisions," Erdogan noted.
