Erdogan hopes to welcome Putin in Türkiye soon

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed hope to host his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Türkiye in the near future.
Report informs, citing Russian media, that Erdogan reiterated the invitation during his meeting with Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in China.
"The invitation stands, and we hope to see you in our country soon," Erdogan said.
He also noted that Russia–Türkiye relations continue to develop steadily, unaffected by temporary or situational challenges.
