Erdogan: 'Government will continue to lower interest rates'

The Turkish government will continue to lower interest rates, the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said, Report informs via TRT.
"As long as your brothers are in power, the interest rate will continue to decrease daily, weekly and monthly. We don't need anyone's advice or recommendations," Erdogan said.
The last meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Turkiye (TMB) was held on September 22. At the meeting, the discount rate was reduced by one percentage point - from 13% to 12%.
