EC chief: Necessary to focus on rebuilding Syria

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that Türkiye's legitimate security concerns in Syria need to be addressed, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

She made the remark following negotiations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara.

"The EU is Syria's largest donor. This support should be implemented with a new emphasis, we need to focus on Syria's reconstruction," she noted.
