Drones attack industrial facilities in Russia's Arzamas, 1 killed

One person was killed and two were injured in a drone attack on Russia's Arzamas, Gleb Nikitin, governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, said on his Telegram channel, Report informs.

"Tonight, enemy UAVs attacked two industrial zones in the Nizhny Novgorod region [...] Unfortunately, casualties and damage could not be avoided during the repelling in the Arzamas district. One employee died on the spot, two injured were taken to the hospital," he wrote.

Russian Telegram channels published videos and photos of drone strikes on what is believed to be the Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant; local residents, according to them, counted at least 10 explosions in total.

Against this background, the Russian Defense Ministry noted that air defense forces shot down 32 Ukrainian drones overnight.
