According to him, the number of wounded has not been disclosed: “A corridor will be opened in Istanbul. But it is not yet known whether it will be by air, land or sea. On January 11-12, within the framework of the International Conference of Ombudspersons held in Ankara, there was a tripartite meeting with the participation of Russian human rights commissioner (Ombudsman) Tatyana Moskalkova and Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada human rights commissioner (Ombudsman) Dmitry Lubinets. Ukraine presented a list of 800 and Russia 200 wounded servicemen. During the negotiations between the representatives in Ankara, preparatory work started. This could lead to the implementation of the humanitarian corridors initiative.”

Malkoc also called on the Russian and Ukrainian sides to start the process as soon as possible.
