Construction company in Armenia caused $20M in damage to state budget

The fact of non-payment of taxes to the state budget in the amount of approximately 8.2 billion drams ($20 million) has been revealed in Armenia, the State Revenue Committee said.

Report informs, citing Armenian media, that the company producing construction materials does not issue cash receipts and does not compile relevant reporting documents. As a result, a large amount of funds has not been paid to the state budget.

A criminal case has been launched, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
