Citizen of European country arrested in Iran on charges of spying for Israeli intelligence

IIranian law enforcement authorities have detained a citizen of a European country accused of working for Israeli intelligence services, according to local officials, Report informs.

Abbas Najafi, the prosecutor for Hamadan Province, told state media that the individual entered Iran posing as a tourist. He engaged in activities aimed at establishing espionage networks, gathering intelligence, and sabotaging Iran’s missile defense systems.
