Charge d'affaires: Attack on Iran is violation of UN Charter

The attack on Iran is a violation of the UN Charter, Seyyed Jafar Aghaei, the Charge d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan, said at a press conference, Report informs.

"This is an open aggression against Iranian territories in order to disrupt negotiations with the United States. Iran was subjected to open aggression on June 13, 2025, and several commanders were martyred, but they were immediately replaced by new ones. Iran's response is self-defense, which is fully consistent with international law," Aghaei said.
