The US Air Force has carried out "additional strikes" on military targets in Iran.
Report informs that the US Central Command (CENTCOM) shared the information on X.
According to CENTCOM, the attacks were carried out in response to "Iran's aggression against commercial shipping."
The command said US military aircraft had targeted Iran's military intelligence infrastructure, communications systems, air defense facilities, drone storage sites and mine-laying capabilities.
CENTCOM noted that Iran had used a drone to attack the Panama-flagged M/T Kiku tanker, which was carrying more than 2 million barrels of oil.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said on Truth Social that Iran had launched "at least four kamikaze-type strike drones" at the Singapore-flagged Ever Lovely container ship as it passed through the Strait of Hormuz.
