Bozumbayev: Russia, Azerbaijan won't be allowed to participate in investigation of plane crash

Law enforcement agencies of Russia and Azerbaijan won't be allowed to participate in the criminal investigation of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash near Aktau, as according to the Criminal Procedure Code of Kazakhstan, only Kazakhstani law enforcement agencies can conduct such investigations, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev said during a briefing in Aktau, Report informs.

"Law enforcement agencies of Russia and Azerbaijan will not be allowed to participate in the criminal investigation, but they will be involved in the aviation incident investigation," he noted.
