Borrell: EU mission to contribute to achieving sustainable peace in South Caucasus

The establishment of the EU Civilian Mission in Armenia will contribute to the achievement of sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell tweeted, Report informs.

“We establish today a civilian EU Mission in Armenia EUMA, to contribute to stability, build confidence & ensure an environment conducive to normalization efforts between Armenia & Azerbaijan. It launches a new phase in our South Caucasus engagement, towards sustainable peace,” he wrote.
