Armenia to build new customs point in Meghri

The customs point in Meghri will be built from scratch, Head of State Revenue Committee of Armenia, Rustam Badasyan, said, Report informs via Sputnik Armenia.

“A new point that meets all international standards will be built from scratch. At the same time, reforms aimed at speeding up and increasing the efficiency of customs control should be implemented,” he stressed.

Earlier, it was reported that reconstruction and modernization work had already started at the customs point located in Meghri. The modernization process will continue until 2026.
