Armenia supports new multimodal transport route project

Armenia has expressed its support for the creation of a multimodal freight transport route along the Kazakhstan–Turkmenistan–Iran–Armenia corridor, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan said at the 11th session of the Armenia-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, held via videoconference, Report informs via Armenian press.
Grigoryan also noted that freight shipments are already taking place along the China–Kazakhstan–Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan–Iran–Armenia route.
He emphasized that the development of regional transport and logistics infrastructure, particularly in the context of opening regional infrastructure, holds special importance for Armenia.
