Archbishop Galstanyan, currently under arrest, sues deputies and officials

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, who is currently under arrest, has filed lawsuits against a group of individuals for insults and defamation.
According to Report, citing Armenian media, the group includes politicians, officials, and public figures.
The largest compensation is being sought from MP Vaagn Aleksanyan — 9 million drams (nearly $23,000).
From Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, leader of the "Republic" party Aram Sargsyan, and his fellow party members Ani Khachatryan and Hayk Saakyan, the cleric is demanding 3 million drams ($7,500) each.
Lawsuits have also been filed against public figures Arutyun Mkrtchyan and Stepan Safaryan.
