Alcohol-fueled outburst forces Dubai-Moscow plane to land in Baku

A flight from Dubai to Moscow had to make an emergency landing in Baku due to the inappropriate behavior of a man onboard, forcing the Aeroflot crew to divert the aircraft.

Report informs, citing the Russian media, that upon arrival, police detained the unruly passenger and escorted him off the plane.

"The man boarded the flight bound for Sheremetyevo in a drunken state and caused a disturbance. He shouted at passengers, touched them, and continued drinking, ignoring flight attendants' requests. Other passengers helped restrain the disruptive man with the assistance of a flight attendant," the media reports.

The police are currently questioning the Aeroflot crew, while the remaining passengers remain on the plane awaiting departure to Moscow. They have been promised a takeoff in 30 to 40 minutes.
