AFAD continues to record aftershocks in Balikesir earthquake zone

Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) continues to record aftershocks after a strong earthquake in Balikesir, Report informs.
About 45 tremors with a magnitude of 1.5 to 4.4 have been recorded in the last three hours.
The most powerful of the aftershocks was recorded at 04:55 local time (GMT+3) in the Sindirgi area of Balikesir. The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
Late on Sunday evening, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred in the Sindirgi area. As a result of the natural phenomenon, one person died, 29 people were injured, and about 10 buildings were destroyed.
