No more than 150 out of the 2,300 individuals recognized as victims in the criminal case against 19 perpetrators and accomplices of the terror attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Krasnogorsk will directly participate in the trial at the 2nd Western District Military Court.
Report informs via Russian media that today, following preliminary hearings, the military court is expected to determine the start date for the main proceedings and select a suitable venue, since the courtrooms at the court's current location on Hospitalny Lane cannot accommodate all participants.
The case will be heard by a panel of three judges.
The case materials include more than 470 volumes, encompassing physical evidence collected during the pre-trial investigation, as well as the results of over 200 types of forensic examinations conducted on the defendants.
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on March 22 of last year. Four armed terrorists opened fire on concertgoers attending a performance by the band Piknik, and then set the hall on fire. The attackers killed 145 people and injured more than 550.
