130,000 people to be called up for compulsory military service in Russia in fall

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an order on conscription for compulsory military service.
Report informs via the Russian media that, according to the document, 130,000 people will be selected for service in autumn.
Citizens liable for military service from 18 to 27 years of age who are fit for health reasons and who are not in the reserves will be called up. The autumn conscription will begin on October 1 and end on December 31, 2023.
Last year, the autumn conscription began a month later - on November 1, when 120,000 people were called up for military service.
