Zelenskyy vows response to Russia’s night attacks on Ukrainian regions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pledged a response to the overnight combined attacks carried out by Russian forces on the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

As per Report, Zelenskyy made the statement on his official Telegram channel, noting that Russia launched a wave of combined strikes using missiles—including ballistic missiles—and drones. “As a result of the Russian strike, there are wounded and, unfortunately, fatalities,” he wrote.

The president emphasized that there can be no silence in response to attacks on Ukraine’s civilian population.

“There will definitely be no silence in response to such strikes. Ukrainian long-range drones will provide that response. Russian military facilities, logistics, and airports must feel that Russia’s own war has real consequences for them,” Zelenskyy added.
