Zelenskyy officially appoints ex-army chief ambassador to UK

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has in a presidential decree appointed former commander-in-chief of the armed forces Valery Zaluzhny, 50, as ambassador to the United Kingdom, Report informs referring to AFP.
Zaluzhny led the Ukrainian army from Russia's invasion on February 24, 2022, until his dismissal by Zelenskyy this February.
The president on May 8 officially dismissed Zaluzhny from the military on health grounds.
