The conflict with Iran is costing Israel hundreds of millions of dollars a day, which may significantly limit the Jewish state's ability to conduct long-term military operations, Report informs referring to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
Up to $200 million a day is spent on Israel's air defense. Ammunition and aircraft used both to strike and to repel missiles also significantly increase the cost of military operations.
The rising costs may push Israel to end the conflict, since the restoration of damaged buildings alone might cost at least $400 million.
