World sets record for number of COVID-19 deaths

The number of deaths from coronavirus worldwide per day has reached 9,763 people, Report says, citing Bloomberg.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated. For example, despite introducing a partial lockdown, Greece recorded the maximum number of positive coronavirus cases per day-2,646. Moreover, the United States set a record for the number of new cases of COVID-19.
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection globally has exceeded 48 million.
