Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said the ruling Serbian Progressive Party would win the country's parliamentary and presidential elections scheduled for this autumn.
According to Report's Balkan bureau, he made the remarks in an interview with Austria's Die Presse newspaper.
"Now I can say this: in three months we will win elections that will be far more democratic than those in many countries. We will make Serbia economically stronger," Vučić said.
He noted that Serbia had achieved significant economic progress during the past 10 years of his presidency.
Asked whether the past decade had changed him, Vučić replied: "I don't think many European heads of state have gone through what I have experienced over the past few years."
