Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said his elder daughter does not want him to run for the second term of presidency, Report informs.
Speaking on a local TV channel, Zelensky said his family was harmed by his presidency.
"My daughter raises this issue; she doesn't want me to run for the second term. No matter how much I love her, it depends solely on the level of our capabilities," Zelensky said.
He also spoke about the further education of his daughter, who finishes school next year.
"Only here, because I am a president of no other state but Ukraine. This is my wish, and we have agreed on that. However, it is difficult for her because she could study without any security guards if she studied abroad. As far as I know, she will study in the sphere of international relations; she wants to engage in the international economy," the Ukrainian president said.
According to a sociological poll conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of the Future analytical center, Zelensky's rating has increased by 32% between June and September.
