Uzbekistan to exempt foreign tourists from tax next year 

The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, instructed the relevant institutions to implement the "tax-free" system for foreign tourists from January 1, 2023, Press Secretary to the President Sherzod Asadov said, Report informs with reference to TASS.

"Although three years have passed since the signing of the decision, the implementation of the duty-free and tax-free systems has been delayed. These systems should be fully operational from January 1, 2023," Asadov said.
