US military base in western Iraq hit by mortar fire

The US Ain al-Asad airbase in Iraq’s Anbar Province has been attacked, the Shafaq news outlet said, citing a source in the security forces, Report informs via TASS.

According to the source, the base came under mortar fire. At least two mines fell on the territory of the base. There is no information yet about the damage caused or who carried out the attack.
