US media criticize Blinken

The American media sharply criticized US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Report informs referring to The Nation.

The publication called Blinken’s visit to the Middle East and US policy towards this region “a humiliating failure.” The article also states that the US strategy in the Middle East is doomed to collapse.

Regarding Blinken’s recent visit to Türkiye, the publication notes that the secretary of state met only with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. According to the media, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan didn’t want to receive the head of the State Department.

It also said Blinken’s visits to Egypt and Israel were unsuccessful.

Blinken visited Israel on November 3. Later, on November 6, he went to Ankara and met with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan. The reluctance of the parties to hold a joint press conference following the negotiations caused serious discussions in the media.
