US Air Force plane issues distress signal near UK

A US Air Force Boeing WC-135R radiation reconnaissance aircraft has sent out a distress signal off the UK's east coast, Report informs referring to Flightradar data.
The aircraft took off from Mildenhall Air Force Base, flew over the Netherlands, then turned around and circled the sea about three times, east of the English coastal town of Cromer.
According to Flightradar, the aircraft sent out a "Squawk 7700" signal, indicating an emergency on board.
As of 14:37 (GMT+4), the aircraft had landed safely at Mildenhall Air Force Base.
