Media: Man who threatened to blow up Iranian consulate in Paris had mental issues

The man who threatened to bomb the consular section of the Iranian embassy in the French capital suffered from mental issues, the Iranian diplomatic mission in Paris told Tasnim.
According to Report, the embassy said the attacker is an Iranian permanently residing in France.
The man suffered from mental illness and only pretended to have explosives. He himself left the consulate building after negotiations, after which he was detained by French law enforcement officers.

An unknown person entered the Iranian consulate in Paris and threatened to blow up the building, Report informs with reference to the Europe 1 radio network.
According to the information, the police closed the sixth subway line and surrounded the building.
