UN under-secretary-general leaves for Israel

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Martin Griffiths, has left for Israel with a one-time short-term visa, Yedioth Ahronoth said, Report informs.
Earlier, Israel’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, said that his country will reject issuing visas to UN representatives, including Griffiths.
