Ukrainian drones blow up Shahed storage hub in Russia's Tatarstan

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has launched a long-range drone strike on a warehouse with Shahed drones in Tatarstan, more than 1,000 km from Ukraine, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

This morning, long-range drones of the Special Operations Center A of the Security Service of Ukraine hit a logistics hub in the village of Kzyl-Yul, Republic of Tatarstan.

The warehouse was stocked with ready-to-use Shahed attack drones and foreign components for their production.

The released footage shows the SBU drone hitting the hub building directly. A fire broke out immediately after the explosion. The distance from Ukraine to the facility is about 1,300 km.

The SBU emphasized that the Shahed storage warehouses are a legitimate military target, as they are used to regularly attack Ukrainian cities.

“Each such successful special operation reduces the enemy's ability to wage a war of aggression against Ukraine,” the SBU said.

This afternoon, August 9, several attack drones attacked a Shahed factory located in the Republic of Tatarstan near the city of Nizhnekamsk.

According to reports, at least one of the attack drones hit the Shahed drone production shop.
