Two people were injured in a shooting near a mosque in the Swedish city of Örebro.
Report informs via foreign media that police said the attack is linked to rival organized criminal groups.
“At present, we are actively pursuing the suspect or suspects. We are interviewing witnesses and conducting a technical investigation,” a police spokesperson said.
According to Swedish media, at least one person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The perpetrator has not yet been apprehended, and it remains unclear whether the mosque or specific individuals were the intended targets.
The shooting occurred as people were leaving the mosque following Friday prayers, causing panic and prompting people to flee the scene.
