Turkish MFA issues statement, warning about armament of southern Cyprus

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding the armament of South Cyprus, Report informs.
The ministry has recently observed South Cyprus's accelerated armament activities:
"We share the position expressed in the statement issued by the Northern Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs on this matter. We would like to remind that South Cyprus's misguided policy could create conditions for disrupting stability and peace in the region and could trigger an arms race on the island."
