The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned Israel's actions on the Syrian border and called them a violation of the 1974 agreement on creating a buffer zone in the Golan Heights, Report informs.
"We strongly condemn Israel's violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Israel and Syria, the entry of its military personnel into the buffer zone, and advancement into Syrian territory," reads the statement.
The statement also emphasizes that Ankara supports "Syria's sovereignty, political unity, and territorial integrity."
